Software Implementations, Medical Device Implementations, and Business Development Initiatives
In this project, we were given the task of choosing a tech product that we used frequently enough to identify specific product features that we could translate into epics and user stories. I chose the Peloton Bike App. We were given specific constraints and had to determine which agile or waterfall characteristics worked best for the project, keeping the constraints in mind. Because our scope, features, teams, and timeline were pre-determined, I chose a waterfall planning process with agile development increments.
Also known as the “Messy Project”. We were given disorganized project artifacts that the previous project team had collected from the prospective client. The artifacts included post-its, notes written on scraps of notebook paper, and unclear requirements. With the information provided by the client, I was tasked with deciding which SDLC methodology to use, justify my decision, and provide the following documents: SDLC diagram, requirements artifact, scope breakdown artifact, schedule, budget, risk management approach, and communications management approach.
